About

I was born and raised in St. Louis, but I have lived in Louisville for four plus years. I have really grown to absolutely love the city of Louisville, which has a fantastic local flavor all its own. However,  having grown up in Saint Louis, I have an affinity for all the professional sports teams there, and before I came into this world, it was predetermined that Mizzou would be the college school to follow.

Then college happened and I fell in love with the Xavier basketball team. (When your freshman dorm is right across the street from where the Musketeers play it is bound to happen.)  My goal here is therapy for myself, but also to give an intelligent opinionated slant on all sports with a definite St. Louis, Mizzou, Xavier and Louisville focus. How can you not love sports?

We have all probably enjoyed the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows when it has come to our passion. For me, the highest of the highs include the St. Louis Cardinals ’06 and ’11 championships, Xavier…The Run in ’04, and The Greatest Show on Turf. The lowest of the lows unfortunately mostly include Xavier with my heart being completely ripped out of my chest; Matta not taking Anthony Myles out quickly enough against Duke at the end of The Run, and Ron Lewis of Ohio State hitting that 3 at the end of regulation denying Xavier an upset bid, and shocking the world.
